Festival of Lights

Malaysia is known as a melting pot of different cultures, religions and ethnicities. All coming together to form a multicultural country that we live in now. I love the fact that Malaysians, regardless race, creed or color, celebrate some of its biggest celebrations together harmoniously. That is also why Malaysia is among the Top 10 Countries in The World with Most Public Holidays. Because we have too many festivities to celebrate every year!

Speaking of which, I was involved again in an event at my workplace just recently. In the spirit of 1Malaysia, we rallied behind the effort in realizing the success of the Open House to celebrate Deepavali. Some of the important elements such as "Kolam" (a form of Indian painting that is drawn using colorful rice powder) and "Kuthu Vilakku" (a lamp with a long metal handle and a broader head which holds oil) were also injected to the event to create the perfect ambiance for this "Festival of Lights".

As much as I wanted to elaborate on the event, I don't want you to feel bored reading all the details. Plus, it's getting late and my fingers feel numb. Hehehe.. Hence, enjoy the pictures!!!

Clockwise: Deputy Foreign Minister and wife light up the oil lamp, Performers from Indrani Dance Academy, Indian Hand Adornments, Madhu: Daughter of Indrani Dance Academy's Pricipal, Kolam and Siew: Singing "Bukan Cinta Biasa"

Shifa and Friends! What a happy day for all of us!

"Bole Chudiyan" and "En Chella Peru Apple"

With our biggest supporters :)

Kakak Angkat

I have a major girl crush on Kakak Angie.

When I was in UK, I would buy every magazine that had her as the cover.

Almost every week and almost every magazine.

I even tried to look like her or imitate her style, but to no avail :(

I miss my Kakak.

But on the bright side, I save my money from buying all those magazines in Malaysia ;)

YZ in LA

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

I'm loving her style! I've been an avid follower of her since last year and this is yet HER BEST LOOK!

She could pull off this trend like no other! Yuna, if only I could wear those TURBAN like you!

I'm a fan of red lipstick and her full lips is just so PERFECT!

PERFECT!

Qi, you are such a lucky guy!

Berlusconi's Babe

WARNING : THIS IS AN INTELECTUALLY SEXY POST

Proudly present you.....................................

The Most Beautiful Minister In The World

MARA CARFAGNA

The Minister of Equal Oppurtunity of Italy

Now

Not beautiful enough? Okay, what about this?

Then

Firstly, I would like to apologize if you feel offended or distracted or uncomfortable or anything of the same when you see the picture shown above.

I'm no advocate of something extremely provocative and flashy like that.

I was intrigued by the fact that this lady, who once a former showgirl and topless model, has now became the member of Italian Chamber of Deputies (the lower house of the Parliament of Italy).

Dubbed as the "World Hottest Politician" by Maxim, she entered politics in 2004 and the rest is history (refer here).

She's totally hot, with a complete package of 'brain and beauty'. A truly man's magnet, she's also quite vocal on certain issues of her interest.

I don't idolize her, nor I condemn what she had done in her past.

It's just everyone deserved a second chance in his/her life and so do her. She's not just another pretty face and she proved that by braving the man-dominated world's of politic.

Guy will always be a guy, especially when he's in his suit. Look at the guy on her left, what he's looking at?

A better picture : With the big boss, Silvio Berlusconi

I think she looks good either ways, long or short, she could pull off the style and still looks sophisticated.

Maybe in the next entries, I'll write about muslim lady figure. I have one in mind and I'll look for more.

Stay tuned.
